What personal data do we use?

When you submit the request form or contact form on the website werkenophetstation.nl, we ask you to provide the personal data we need to process your request and/or contact you. These data include your contact details (first name and surname, business or private email address and business or private telephone number). Where it concerns a request for works at the station, we also ask you to fill in your company data, such as the Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, company name and address details.

What do we use your personal data for?

The basis for processing is: entering into and performing a contract and consent.

The basis for processing your contact details or business details is: entering into and performing a contract. It is very important for NS, e.g. for the station manager in question, to know who is performing works at a particular station, as this can help prevent unauthorised modifications, for example. NS also needs to be able to contact vendors if it retrospectively identifies flaws or defects in works. These data are also used to conduct 4 annual interviews with vendors about work that has already been done and is yet to be done. This means that NS needs to know which vendor did what in the previous months.

The basis for processing business and other contact data entered in the contact form on the website is: consent. You can use this form to request information or ask questions. We process the data you have filled in on this form based on your consent.

With whom do we share data?

We engage third parties to provide IT and marketing services, including (but not limited to) the builder of the website. These third parties process our data solely for our own internal use, and for no other purpose. We have made agreements with these parties pertaining to the processing of personal data.

We are authorised to provide your personal data to parties outside the European Economic Community under certain circumstances. In that event, we will take suitable measures with these parties, for example by agreeing to the standard provisions required by the European Commission.

How long do we store your data?

We store data provided to us through our website for a maximum of 6 months. During this period, we may use the data to contact you if we encounter any flaws or defects. In addition, the data concerning the work performed are used around four times a year in meetings with you to discuss the work that has been carried out or is yet to be carried out.

Your rights
